What to measure before a built-in Jacuzzi removal

Record the longest side, widest side, and height of the unit. Then follow the route and measure the narrowest gate, the space between walls or fences, and the usable width at each turn. Note overhead branches, eaves, and wires where the tub might be tipped.

Map changes in level

Count stairs and photograph them from above and below. Measure deck openings and identify removable rail sections without assuming they should be taken apart. A slope, retaining wall, or gravel path may change the safest way to carry sections.

Show what surrounds the shell

Built-in spas can meet trim, decking, masonry, or planters. Wide photos help define the boundary. If the deck needs to remain, say so. If parts of the enclosure should also be removed, ask for that as a separate line in the estimate.
